Chapter_825
“I…,” Whitney’s cheeks flushed instantly.
With a quick glance of her almond-shaped eyes, she caught sight of Ludwik in his sharply pressed trousers. She dared not provoke him at that moment, but she couldn’t resist taking him down a peg. So, she hid behind the desk, her lips quickly curling into a smirk, “You, bring me to justice right here? Wishful thinking, Ludwik. Maybe you should stick to seeing your doctor, might do you some good.”
Ludwik glanced down, a shade of embarrassment coloring his chiseled features. He cleared his throat, leaned in, his arms braced on the desk, towering over her across the table, his voice low and heated, “What good would seeing any other doctor do when you’re the only ‘specialist’ that can cure me?
You know well, the treatment involves… personal experience! Don’t you, Whitney?”
The air charged with tension at his sultry tone.
Whitney’s neck flushed with color, snapping back to reality, “Why am I even discussing this with you? I have the Sheldon Group’s contract to draft. Don’t distract me!”
“Fine, we have all the time in the world after this,” Ludwik quipped with a narrow-eyed smile and a teasing tone.
Delight Mansion.
Cherry sprang into action!
While her mom was in the bathroom taking a shower, she quickly climbed down and ran to the door, crying out, “Daddy Parker, waaah, I fell down, come and see!”
Downstairs, Parker, hearing the noise, immediately stepped out from the guest room and hurried upstairs, “Cherry!”
Entering the bedroom, he found no sign of the little one.
But the bathroom door was ajar, with the sound of running water coming from inside.
Parker, unsure if Cherry was in there taking a bath, rushed over and pushed the door open.
The sight of the woman showering caught him by surprise!
Her graceful, elongated form, with curves delicate and refined, her skin so white it seemed to glow, like milk, her wet curly hair cascading over her icy jade-like collarbones and white neck, those strands dancing along her body.
The side profile of the woman in the mist, full and petite, flushed with warmth.
Her plump lips parted slightly as she tilted her head back, eyes closed as if in longing… Parker had seen this scene before, in the very same bathroom, only in his memory, a man enveloped her from behind, pressing her against the wall.
A man’s instinctive gulp seemed to echo over the sound of the water.
Tiana, bathing, felt a draft behind her.
Slow to react, she only turned around when she felt an intense gaze on her-
“Ah-Parker…” she gasped, eyes wide.
Parker, seeing her embarrassed attempt to cover herself, her hands flailing, “You jerk, what are you doing!”
Snapped out of his impulsive state, he quickly averted his heated gaze, his glasses fogging up.
Yet, he saw everything more clearly than he wished to.
His body reacted instantly, his throat working hard as he clenched the door handle, “Sorry, I thought Cherry was in here.”
Tiana, her heartbeat erratic, her face and chest flushing with a suspicious shame and embarrassment, “Are you insane? She already took her bath. And why didn’t you knock?”
“Cherry was crying, so I rushed up, but when I couldn’t find her, I got worried.”
“Worried so you peep on my shower? I never pegged you for a creep!”
Seeing him not moving away, his intense gaze piercing through his glasses, making her want to shrink away. Unfortunately, the towel was too far, and he was blocking the door, leaving her no way to grab it!
“Still looking? What’s there to see! Haven’t you seen enough?” she snapped, her cheeks burning.
Perhaps unbeknownst to her, her hasty covering only emphasized certain curves.
Parker, his throat working harder, found it difficult to look away.
Yet her words irked him. He was about to leave when he suddenly paused, blatantly staring at her, “Not much to see, really. I was just startled, that’s all! Are you done yelling?”
“You…” How dare he claim there’s nothing much to see? Hadn’t he been all over her when they slept together, clinging as if he couldn’t get enough? Tiana was furious with his emotionally detached demeanor, retorting, “I haven’t started. And who knows how scary you look undressed, talking about being startled!”
Caught in his lie, the flush reached Parker’s ears under his glasses.
Clearing his throat, Parker suddenly locked his teasing gaze on her, “Want an apology?”
“An apology is the least you could do, but get out first!” she was at her limit.
How much longer must she endure this exposure?
Even if… even if they had been intimate, it was during his amnesia. Now that he remembered, things were awkward again.
“I leave now, how will I apologize?” His voice husky, he stepped closer.noveldrama
“What are you doing?”
“Apologizing.” Parker’s lips curved into a seductive smile, his charm shining through, making Tiana’s heart race uncontrollably, “Stay back…” “Ah! What are you up to?” His shirt coming off was the last straw.
As he undid the diamond buttons, revealing his toned arms, he cornered her against the wall, his presence overwhelming, “You said you’d be scared if I undressed. Let’s see if it’s fear or something else.”
“I’m not interested in looking, I won’t!”
“Tit for tat,” his voice deep and husky.
“This isn’t fair, stop teasing me, get out!”
“Tiana-” He suddenly grabbed her slender wrists, pinning them to the wall, exposing her fully.
Parker’s gaze lingered on her beauty, darkening with desire. He breathed hotly on her wet face, frowning, “Why does my heart race for you like this? As if I truly had you before.
So familiar, so passionate, even the shape of the dimples on your hips, I remember it all.
Why?”
Tiana was a bundle of nerves, avoiding his gaze as if it burned. Her heart skipped a beat, wondering if the moment had sparked a memory for him. After all, they had shared something real, fragments of which he might never fully erase from his mind.
Her heart raced, forcing her to seek refuge in his embrace, dodging his eyes, “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“It’s not the first time I’ve felt like there’s something between us. Downstairs, watching your every smile and frown, I felt drawn to you, wanted to pull you close, mess up your hair.
And now, looking at you like this, I really want to…” His voice turned raspy, the bob in his throat revealing the word he left unspoken. Tiana’s cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, her heart fluttering wildly.
“Apart from wanting, I also remember the curve of your waist. Tell me the truth, did something happen while I was suffering from amnesia?” His confusion was palpable!
